Food Plots

What is Included

A typical food plot establishment includes the following services:

  1. Individual consultation with the landowner on objectives, location(s), scope, and budget

  2. Personalized plot design relative to topography, local food/habitat/water sources, and corridors/routes of travel by deer

  3. If brand new plot: Removal of trees, stumps (if possible), and rough in food plot late winter-early spring, prep stand locations/trees for saddle/ladder stands

    • If existing plot: Revitalize plot and prep for seeding, general maintenance/upkeep prep for upcoming season

  4. Scarify and plant seed based on objectives and seasonality goals

  5. Monitoring of food plot over season and work with landowner for any changes needed to be done prior to late-summer/early-fall

  6. Follow up consultation with landowner after hunting season(s) to go over what went well, what didn’t go well, and what can be improved for next season

It is important to note that food plots are not to be viewed as the main attractant for deer or can be solely relied on. Given that each property is unique in its composition and landowner goals, results may vary. CONTACT US TO GET STARTED!
